Hi people it’s your friendly neighborhood hobbit reporting live from Lansing. I am sooo loving it here. We’ve done mostly LOTR panels thus far and one Harry potter one. This hobbit was in here native habitat at the HP one. Ahhh these are my people! Also did a Alan Rickman panel that was great, and ended with a movie of his called Closet Land. Wow. What a movie, I’m going to have to look into that one a bit more. Although for last night I didn’t really need to watch anything that heavy, but it was still amazing. The trip up was good, except that were all so tired that none of us could drive for very long. I think Luthien will have the most to say for the trip being the injured elf and all, although I must say it is v. funny to see her take the pink Seran-Wrap all around her knee. Brings to mind strawberry bubble bath…

Now must go and prepare for the day, I’ll be Snape again, fun times!

Today more Harry and LOTR and of course Pirates. We’ve had great speculation on Percy Weasley. Some great ideas, can’t wait to really talk Snape with these people. Doing costume contest tonight. At the current moment of typing this I’m eating myself silly in Twizzlers and chips. Sad really. It’s great to really get in depth with Harry Potter with people who know the stories enough to know a Snitch from a Quaffle. Best thing to come up today came from Luthien with the idea to cast Judi Dench as Umbridge and have the ultimate face off between her and Maggie Smith. LUV IT! Also meet guy who runs an awesome Harry Potter site who agrees with me on the casting Dumbledore. Way coolness on that. So many things discussed so little brain space to keep it in.
