Ah the good life...

 Today  was not a bad day. I got to go on a nice walk with my mom and catch an episode of Top Gear before heading to work. Work was bah, not horrible but not fun either, it took us an hour to get the store back into shape.  After work I stopped by Kroger's to get a pizza and some caramel popcorn because tonight they are showing  Tell it to The Marines on TCM! Squee. It's one of the few Lon Chaney films I haven't seen yet and I do love Lon Chaney!  Scott was still up when I got back so he helped me eat the pizza and then we just chatted,  it's so nice when we just chat without him going into lecture mode (which can be really sweet when he gets parental but he can throw in some guilt trips like you would not believe.)  Now I'm just waiting for the movie to start, I wish it wasn't on so late but  I have no way to record it  to watch it later but I'll have popcorn and coke to get me through the night.

They seem to be showing a few for October. first is "Tell it to the Marines", then "The Unknown" (love this one), "Phantom of The Opera", and "The Unholy Three". Fan Girl Squee!   Are there any other silent film fans on my friends list?

ETA:  Oh wow, Tell it to the Marines was WONDERFUL!
